MT Rusty Painted Steel 001 - PBR Material Generator
Description
Generates a steel material with many options to control the metal finish and enable up to 2 paint layers. The material can then be aged, damaged and rusted, with all these effects being linked to a time slider to allow for capturing the material at different points in time. The paint colour and/or roughness can also be overridden with a custom map input.
Key Features:
- The scale of the whole material can be set anywhere between 30 centimeters and 4 meters. Use this to achieve the desired texel density.
- Adjust "Water Exposure/Rust Rate", "Damage Rate" and "Age Rate" to set the desired amount of decay at the current point in time.
- Increase/decrease the "Time" slider to capture your material at different points in time, from brand new all the way to post-apocalypse.
- 0-2 paint layers with the option to override the paint color and/or roughness with custom maps.
- "Vertical (Wall)" or "Horizontal (Floor/Ceiling)" orientation modes for enabling/disabling gravity based effects. Useful for tri-planar projections.
- 7 metal finish types plus an optional galvanised effect.
- Export in metallic/roughness or specular/glossiness workflows.
- Includes anisotropy maps for brushed metal finish. Anisotropy angle/direction map included in both angle and vector formats.
- Tooltips included for all parameters that need explaination. Just hover over them.
- An array of parameters to tweak to your heart's content.

Notes
Compatible with Substance Engine v9+. Can be used with the free Substance Player - https://helpx.adobe.com/substance-3d-player/home.html. It throws up a warning message in the console, but this doesn't affect the product and can be safely ignored (I've tried A LOT to get rid of it, but it won't go away!). It is not a Substance Painter smart material, so doesn't take baked maps as inputs. It's just intended for generating seamless repeatable textures for environments.
This product is non-refundable.
